I guess my stance is a bit more liberal. I would not attempt to "cure" children of their homosexuality, because I do believe it is genetic to some extent. However, I believe that we should restrict children/families from attending pride parades. Those parades are purely for brainwashing young minds into accepting the gay lifestyle. It's irresponsible to let children see that stuff.

That is rubbish. Do you have a reading comprehension problem? If they are /ADOPTIVE/ parents, how can they be your birth parents too? Apparently you do not understand that some words fall under context, the general and the specific:

Strictly speaking, your true parents are your birthing parents. That can never change. You are their offspring. A DNA test can prove it. But if for whatever reason, they had to give you up for adoption, then the people who adopted you became your surrogate parents, your adoptive parents. They became your legal guardians and raised you and are in every way now your new parents except one: they did not give birth to you, there is no DNA link to them, so there is always that distinction semantically with your true, original, biological parents.
