I consider myself fairly liberal. Concerning politics I've never given thought to facial expressions. It seems rather petty in terms of issues facing the country. That's not to say I haven't enjoyed a laugh at a politician's expense. The best one I recall was Dukakis wearing the helmet while riding in the tank. Just thinking of it brings back thoughts of Snoopy from the Peanuts cartoon. It didn't affect my political view of him in any way, it was simply funny.

Probably the closest I came to facial expression effecting my thinking was back in the late 50's and very early 60's when as a child seeing (and especially hearing) Everette Dirksen on TV would scare me. I was at an age when I thought of those male singers who'd come on Ed Sullivan singing their love songs as sort of queer.
