We should have taken the lead with swift, decisive sanctions before this whole shitshow started. We didn't even reinstate our sanctions against the Nord Stream 2 pipeline until Germany did that on their own. Then that asshole from the State Department yesterday tried to make it sound like we took the lead on that.

The only sanctions with the possibility for success calls for removing, the new and improved USSR, access from international SWIFT transactions, and total economic isolation. A tough pill to swallow considering Western European energy requirements to supplement for the short comings of green energy.
