Trump isn't allowing them any time. He gave them a 60 day window and they pissed it off.

Trump will break them. The mullahs can either surrender now to an international force allowed to dismantle what is left of their nuclear program or Trump will hit them with the Hammer of Thor that will make Saturday look like a walk in the park.

Israel can now go in there and obliterate every military target they have. If they start trying to shoot rockets at our bases or uncover some hidden terror cell in this country, etc., it will only go harder on them. That would only open the door to utterly obliterate Iran.

The Mullahs can surrender the easy way and stay in power or they can all be killed and driven out of power.

It certainly won't hurt my feelings.

Could it have been done different? Maybe, maybe not, but nothing else has worked.

On the other hand, it has the distinct possibility of working.
If it works, it would be a major accomplishment, one that would be a surviving legacy, probably moving his usual historical evaluation rating among presidents, out of the toilet, and solidifying in the top 10%. It could be, that big a deal. There is the definite possibility, he won't **** this up, like he and his political asshole oafs have fucked up everything else, as this time, he is following the advice of the joint chiefs, experienced Generals, with the knowledge, command and large operation planning and coordination experience, not the know-nothing political appointees, hired for their looks or their ability to talk on TV.

3. Turns out that our intel is seriously flawed and Iran shows us they have many contingencies in place to attack our bases and strike terrorist hits within the country. Things get real ugly and dirty, Iran must be stomped, but in the end, it all eventually works out for the better.
4. Russia and N. Korea give nukes to Iran. Iran starts a nuclear war anyway, and both Russia and N. Korea get dragged into a nuclear war. WWIII ensues, Iran is destroyed, Russia and USA nuke each other over a small muslim country, and there are no winners.

Some people do not yield to normal common sense and diplomatic talk, where they might understand the diplomacy of a demonstration of coordinated long range attack of B-2 Bombers, with 14 30,000 lb MOP bunker busters, along with cruise missiles from submarines, they had no way to defend against, then, flying back for lunch and downtime as if coming back from any other training mission. It was just another way of saying what we have said all along, hoping they could hear and understand.

I don't see it working out points 3 and 4. I am optimistic, but that optimism is based on training, even if that training is decades old, and the knowledge, we are better now, than we were then.
