Pawlenty/Palin ticket would result in a landslide win for 2012.

Here's some more FACTS for all you libs to read, it may be a little above your reading comprehension, it may require a little more of an attention span than that of your typical 2 year old, but I think if you really, really try hard, and Ya Yank keeps his hands above his waist and his eyes off the photo opted picture, just maybe, maybe you can all get it done.

Sarah Palin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is the part I love. No one turns down a raise.

In December 2008, an Alaska state commission recommended increasing the Governor's annual salary from $125,000 to $150,000. Palin stated that she would not accept the pay raise.[100] In response, the commission dropped the
recommendation

This one's for you You, Yankoff.

I will give you liberals a little more time to read the above link, with your reading comprehension skills, you might be able to get through it in about a week's time.

Curve light are you one of those people who pretend to be a conservative only to show your true colors later on. I think so. Governors don't give money that has been allocated back to the feds, name another that ever has. All states, including yours gets federal highway money. They allocated this money to other more pressing needs in the state of Alaska.

Had she returned that money, you would have heard the howling going on in Alaska clear down here in the lower 48.

Long before Palin killed the project, Congress washed its hands of the bridge. In the transportation spending bill that included money for the Ketchikan bridge, Congress deleted the wording that would have directed money for the project, though it left the money in place so Alaska officials could decide which transportation projects to spend it on. As a result, Alaska diverted much of the $223-million from the federal government to other projects, leaving the Ketchikan-Gravina bridge project woefully underfunded, and with no prospect of additional federal funding. That was the point at which Palin formally killed the bridge project

I guess you missed this part of the article:

"In fact, the Palin administration has spent "tens of millions of dollars" in federal funds to start building a road on Gravina Island that is supposed to link up to the yet-to-be-built bridge..."

Then you defend Palin's hypocrisy.....by pointing to other hypocrites. You're not using your noggin!

As for your repeat assault on my being a Conservative, as I've said before, you don't have the first clue about plotting political positions. If you truly believe you can successfully argue I am not a conservative then start the damn thread and stop whining in this one.

You're missing the point. After Obama's electric rate increases hit, unemployment hits 15%, and Medicare goes bankrupt "on his watch" whoever the GOP puts up will win in a landslide. I'm being kind, I could mention 10 other major policy blunders, but those alone will sink the America hating O'muslim.

"Thank you for those clearly fair, balanced, and unbiased remarks. Up next we will tackle the issue of Obama's border (in)security policies after a few words from our sponsor, Palin's Holy Water Pancake Syrup, thank you for watching Fox News."

In reality, we are already at 17% unemployment, when you consider that so many have fallen off the unemployment count due to the length of time they have been unemployed.

I feel very fortunate, there are so many people out there who really need help and are having a very hard time getting any. The jobs just are not out there. I live in Colorado where our unemployment rate is lower than the national average and I still see alot of people losing their jobs and their homes. More and more tents are springing up along the creek and it's freezing out there.

I love the spin that I see the media doing, just now they announced that our personal wealth has increased due to a little rise in the prices of our homes. It fell off a cliff and still remains way down from where it was, but they are doing everything to paint a brighter but false picture of things.

Is not.

You just want to force us moderates to vote against Palin in 2012. How do you know that we could stomach 4 more years of Obama huh, huh?

(Please Va, let it go!! I want a choice next time. PLEASE!!!)

But, she was SO much fun to watch the first time.....that Couric interview had me rolling! And the SNL skits.....come on!

And what's also cool is that there's no statute of limitations on coverage her performance in '08. It can all be used to again to remind the American public why they voted against her the first time.

:D

I don't need to start a thread, I started this one. I have used my noggin and given you every link that is factual. You want to hang up on the bridge to nowhere where the federal money was not returned. I answered that, once the feds allocate money to any state, the legislature puts that money in the bank account and good luck getting it or giving it back.

That does not happen, I tried to get back an overpayment of property taxes that were in error. I took it personally before a judge and a 3 person jury. All it took for me to lose the case was that the state's attorney got up there and said the money was already allocated to the state budget. He cited case after case with similar situations, each of these cases lost. In the end, I lost, even though they admitted it was their error, once that money ends up in the bank account of the state, it is allocated and becomes part of their budget, there is no getting or giving it back. That's a matter of fact. I was mad at the time because it was their error and their fault that I was overcharged on the property, but in the end I understand why they have to take this position.

States have budgets, that pay medicaid, education, police, fire, road maintanence, the list goes on. They do not have anything in their budgets to allocate money for their screw ups so they have written laws to protect that budget from people like me who want their money back. Once they get it, it's in a water tight lock box and no one is getting in their to get any money back, including the feds. That's also why Palin did not want to accept the full amount of the stimulus money, she knew once that money was allocated to her state, it would be bugeted and spent by the state legislature. Get real!!!

Yes, she did and she made it very clear that someday they might be able to afford a less expensive bridge with money from Alaska. That's a normal occurence and it happens in all 50 states. I don't know what state you live in, but I guarantee you that your state has federal highway money in the millions of dollars too. How do you think the feds bribe the states?

Here in Colorado, we had an 18 year old drinking law. The feds told Colorado that you raise that limit to 21 or we are not going to send you any more federal dollars for your highway system. Guess what happened. Overnight we raised the drinking age limit to 21.

Check your state, they receive federal highway money. All of them do.

Once again you defend Palin by pointing to the rest of the world. You know why I've been continuing? Because I wanted to see if you and other Palin supporters could see the irony in how you defend her. Do you see it yet? It's really very simple. The book that was written for her has the word "Rogue" which is supposed to indicate she stands out from the rest of the crowd. You yourself had made that claim. The most common method Palin supporters have been using to defend her is to point to other politicians. Other governors. Other States. Well can you answer the obvious question? If she is so much like all other politicians what stands out about her?

(go with your first thought.....just say I'm a fake Conservative. That's always a winner in your book.)

Bush wounded the Republican brand. Palin is the silver bullet that will finish the job.

Keep her talking! Nothing proves the theory she is an idiot more than Sister Sarah herself.

Did you happen to see any of her recent interviews, with Oprah, O'Reilly, Hannity, Greta or any of her radio interviews with Rush, Hannity and several others. Oh nooooooo, you too have been stuck on the late night comedy shows with Jay Leno, Tina Fey and you read your news out of the National Inquierer.

Make sure you read Obama's APE poem, it's terrific and it demonstrates what an intellectual, intelligent person he is.:lol::lol::lol: It's a sure signal that you did the right thing in electing him as POTUS even though he was just a community organizor, state legislator and spent all of 150 days in the U.S senate where he signed 1 bill.:lol::lol:

I would like to see ONE example of Palin talking IN DEPTH, UNSCRIPTED, KNOWLEDGEABLY, about some important foreign policy issue,

for starters.

They have the same philosophy about debt, smaller more efficient government. This is a ticket that I would definitely support and IMO millions of others would too. You would have the men vote for Pawlenty and the women vote for Palin. This is the team that I could get behind. IMHO it would result in a landslide win for conservatives.

And the real boost, is that they both have executive office experience.

As the hours-long laughter subsides, we all can say "thank you for the comic relief."

Would you care to list the accomplishments of your governor of your state or any state for that matter to see if they can stand up to what she has done in Alaska. If you can, go for it. Have you ever seen any politician turn down a raise, sell the jet, fire the cook, fire the security staff, use her own vehicle instead of the one provided to her. If you can, google it, and post it. I will gladly read it and respond to it. But you need to find it. I anxiously await your reply. Please provide the links with your post.

I thought I would be of some help with your search for other governors who have her record and keep in mind that she went after the CBC, the corrupt bastard's club in her own Republican party and some of them are still wearing orange jump suits.

Where you don't need to search.
1. Colorado, I live there and I know that the governor's of this state have never accomplished anything like Palin did in Alaska.
2. Illinois, Blogoiavich was recalled, still under investigation for attempting to sell Obama's vacated senate seat. The previous 2 govenors there I think are still in the big house. Jail I mean.
3. California is bankrupt- no need to search there.
4. New Jersey is going to be bankrupt- no need to search there. Maybe Christy can pull it out.
5. New York, is on the edge of being bankrupt.

That's 5 states, that means you will only have to search the other 45 states to compare Palin's record with the governors of those states. I await your search and look forward to the links that I am certain you will supply me with.

And all the while, she was STEALING from Alaska. Luckily, she got caught:
Alaska officials on Wednesday ruled that Alaska governor and former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin must pay back taxes to the IRS.

The exact amount the governor must pay is not yet known, but the Associated Press estimates she owes taxes on more than $17,000 in per-diem expenses.

State employees who live more than 50 miles away from Alaska's capital, Juneau, are entitled to state aid in the form of per-diem payments. Juneau is approximately 600 miles from Palin's home town of Wasilla, making the governor eligible for the payments.

But before she accepted the vice presidential nomination, Palin charged the state for over 300 nights spent in her Wasilla home, not the governor's mansion in Juneau. Her expenses usually amounted to $60 per day.

On Wednesday, Alaska state officials decided that the per-diem expenses should be counted as taxable income. Palin's spokesman, Bill McAllister, said the governor would pay the taxes.

This ticket would be an awful blow to the Republican Party. The Republicans need a Barry Goldwater Republican right now.
