Pawlenty/Palin ticket would result in a landslide win for 2012.

It's actually no wonder that our country is such a ******* mess when the masses are more concerned about some poem that Obama wrote when he was in his 20s, whether using a ghostwriter is or is not a big deal, whether a speech is a good one or not, whether referring to a black politician as 'your boy' is racist when it is fine if the guy is white, whether a female politician is 'ugly' or whatever the 'issue' may be.

Talk about dumbing down. I believe we may actually have reached the bottom as far as intellect goes. On the bright side, if that is indeed the case - if Americans really are completely ******* stupid - then maybe we can get smarter.

Until then, these assclowns - on both sides - will keep on robbing us all. As far as I am concerned, anyone who votes for the democrats or the republicans is nothing more than a jackass.

I don't know, I kinda liked the poem that he wrote when he was in his 20's. As long as liberals ignore the truth and the facts, I will continue to hit them with the truth and the facts and the fact is that my 5 year old grandson can write a better poem than Obama did when he was in his 20's. That's a fact.:lol:

What facts are we ignoring?

Maple, Palin is not the right candidate for POTUS or VP. Let it go.

Just because blacks voted for Obama based on his color doesn't mean that women will do likewise.

Why do you seem to think that blacks are monolithic, but not women? You think that any black person who voted for Obama voted for him because of race. But you seem to be arguing that a woman who voted for McCain/Palin wasn't voting for them because of gender?

Life between your ears must get really interesting (i.e. confusing) at times with these inconsistent/incompativle philosophies running around in there.

She was concerned about the budget of Alaska and that of the country. That's what I want, a budget cutter, she did improve roads for the 50 people who live on that island, they have great ferry service, but to build a bridge of that expanse and expense was too much for her to swallow and I thank her for that. We are talking 50 people here, not 500,000 people.

Did you not see what her campaign coordinator pointed out?

SHE KEPT THE MONEY

But I'll bet you want us to forget the new governor of virginia's college paper about women, right? We should dismiss it because he was a much younger man, right?

Oh man....don't ask her to explain her double standards. It would be more time worthy to put a ben stein eye drop tv ad on a 6 hour loop.

Curve light are you one of those people who pretend to be a conservative only to show your true colors later on. I think so. Governors don't give money that has been allocated back to the feds, name another that ever has. All states, including yours gets federal highway money. They allocated this money to other more pressing needs in the state of Alaska.

Had she returned that money, you would have heard the howling going on in Alaska clear down here in the lower 48.

Long before Palin killed the project, Congress washed its hands of the bridge. In the transportation spending bill that included money for the Ketchikan bridge, Congress deleted the wording that would have directed money for the project, though it left the money in place so Alaska officials could decide which transportation projects to spend it on. As a result, Alaska diverted much of the $223-million from the federal government to other projects, leaving the Ketchikan-Gravina bridge project woefully underfunded, and with no prospect of additional federal funding. That was the point at which Palin formally killed the bridge project

Alaska Politics Blog : Palin rejects federal stimulus money | adn.com

From Sean Cockerham in Juneau –

Gov. Sarah Palin just told reporters that she’s accepting only 55 percent of the federal economic stimulus money being offered to Alaska. The governor said that she will accept only about $514 million of the $930 million headed to the state.

“We are not requesting funds intended to just grow government. We are not requesting more money for normal day-to-day operations of government as part of this economic stimulus package. In essence we say no to operating funds for more positions in government,” Palin said.

What??? Gettin a little beat up on here???. You keep stating that Palin does not have the qualifications and you have JUST PROVEN my point that Obama has no qualifications and that Palin trounced him in that arena. You gave me the links, and they came back and bit you right in the ass, you provided them.:lol::lol:

Keep searching for all those qualifications on Obama, they are very entertaining. LOL

Palin demonstrated her lack of qualifications as soon as she began to speak on the national stage.

Hello New York, is speaking the only qualification that you look at and vote for?? Obviously it is, because you elected someone who could read a telepromter and just for you I am going to post the poem that your so very intellectual and intelligent President wrote. Hang on a minute because I need to go get it. It's stunning and soooooooooooo accomplished.

Would you vote for a liberal if he had more experience and qualifications than his conservative opponent?

From your link:

The biggest single chunk of stimulus money that Palin is turning down is $160 million for education. There’s also $17 million in Department of Labor funds (vocational rehabilitation services, unemployment services, etc.), about $9 million for Health and Social Services and about $7 million for Public Safety. The full list and the specifics aren’t available from the governor’s budget department yet.

What does this have to do with the bridge to nowhere?

This is a lie. I have never once in this thread stated Palin had no qualifications. I simply stated that she is a bimbo. Please do try to keep your facts straight. Oh that's right...you don't have any facts. Never mind.

I have posted several facts on this thread and I even took the time to read the links YOU provided which you abviously didn't read. Palin is anything but a Bimbo, I have posted over and over and over again the accomplishments she has acheived as a Mayor of Wasilla, making that town the envy of the state of Alaska, and her ACCOMPLISHMENTS as Governor. Hardly the work of a bimbo.

Definition of BIMBO, someone who provides a link and doesn't read it before he posts it.:lol:

You have succeeded in sinking the Obama boat on this thread by torpedoing his non-existant accomplishments with the links that YOU provided. Thank You, from a conservative.

Wasilla is the envy of Alaska? lol, now you're just trolling. Grow up for Christ's sake.

Maple doesnt care about facts

You guys ever hear of state legislators? They have them in every state, including Alaska. She is required by law to get the okay-ka-dokay from them before she sends any appropriated money back to the feds. They screamed loud and clear in Alaska when she did not accept ALL of the stimulus money, other governors Bobby Jindal got the same treatment from his state legislation. goooooooooooooooood grief!!!!::cuckoo::cuckoo:

The stimulus article from your link is frm March of 2009. So, again I ask what the article has to do with the bridge to nowhere that Palin took Federal funds for?

Maple doesnt care about facts

Maple makes Palin look smart.

Here's some more FACTS for all you libs to read, it may be a little above your reading comprehension, it may require a little more of an attention span than that of your typical 2 year old, but I think if you really, really try hard, and Ya Yank keeps his hands above his waist and his eyes off the photo opted picture, just maybe, maybe you can all get it done.

Sarah Palin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is the part I love. No one turns down a raise.

In December 2008, an Alaska state commission recommended increasing the Governor's annual salary from $125,000 to $150,000. Palin stated that she would not accept the pay raise.[100] In response, the commission dropped the
recommendation

This one's for you You, Yankoff.
