3/4 cup garbanzo bean flour/chick pea flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
pinch of cayenne
about 1/2 cup of water, give or take
Any veggies cut up bite-size (shroomies, broccoli, cauliflower...)
oil for deep frying
Heat the oil in a wok or deep fryer (really a steep-sided sauce pan will do).
Mix together the dry ingredients.
Add the water, sloowly, ok right there, like pancake batter (not the thin crepe-type batter)!
Dip the veggies in the batter. Carefully drop into hot oil, and flip'm until they're golden suns of sweet goodness.
Voila! Enjoy with chutney! If you dont have it, make a version with hot chili peppers, tomato sauce, sugar, and coriander.
