If you believe people should generally try to be good, you cannot, in good conscience, support deporting Dreamers. If civil war is what you Trumpers want, that's one of the lines you should cross.
I agree.
OTH?
If you believe people should generally try to be good, you cannot, in good conscience, support
"her fellow protesters were not asking Sinema to support the increase, but were “demanding it.”
Or that other bullshit Maxine Water's was suggesting. . . i.e. forcing change upon the citizens of this nation through militancy and violence.
If we just give Dreamers what they want, without fixing the system, it will encourage undocumented law breaking aliens to break the law, and create MORE such cases, and MORE dreamers. You can't encourage disregard of the law.
So? If there is no compromise on how to do this, if the elites will not create a path to citizenship for the ones that are here, while at the same time closing the border, and enforcing the law, then, I am of the opinion that a lot of folks will be just fine with crossing that Rubicon.
After all, it isn't they that crossed it first. It isn't they that purposely set up the destruction of their homeland.
The laws have always been in place, it was the elites and the establishment that chose not to enforce them. FROM BOTH PARTIES.
For the DNC, to gain more political power, for the corporate elites, for illegal labor.
If you don't understand how the economics of human behavior work? I cannot help you. But there has to be a process, you can't just have blanket amnesty, with out working to correct the problem.
Don't sit there and try to define me as a "Trumper," based on what I support and do not support.
Have I called you an illegal alien? No. That would be just as ignorant.
You make yourself look like a fool when you do so.
Sitting there and threatening war is a foolish thing to do if you do not get your way. Likewise, these silly nationalists that also threaten war if they don't get their way, is just as ignorant. No one wins if a solution is not found.
