Is Ozempic a scandal proving that the American government is out to destroy it's own society?

From the link.

1. Oprah is spreading the word that obesity is an illness we have no control over. The only solution is to take this drug that people will have to take for life, despite there being many reporting very severe side effects. Once again, accountability takes a back seat to BIg Pharma making a killing off the American people.

2. This drug is not being pushed in Europe where it is made, just in the US where there is an epidemic of people being over weight and nutritionally mismanaged.

What are we to make of this?

and its a drug for diabetes......is it not trying to do in a non-diabetic what it does for a diabetic with sugar control?.....no wonder there are severe side effects....

Ozempic is hormone therapy (endocrine system)

The problem is that hormones regulate more than one system at a time. And supplementing hormones can cause your body to stop producing that hormone altogether. It can also cause other side effects.
Ozempic is supposed to suppress your appetite. So you eat less.

Hunger is only partially indirectly controlled by hormones...it is also controlled by emotions and attitudes and foods you ate growing up.
If you were raised eating particular starches at every meal you usually don't ever stop eating or desiring those starches as an adult. (Beans, rice, breads, potatoes, biscuits) And your body is attuned to those particular starches.

What is problematic is that this drug was promoted as a weight loss drug. The potential harmful side effects minimized....
The purpose of the drug for diabetics wasn't really explained in full.

Pancreatic issues have been abounding with this drug. Especially by those with pancreatic issues to begin with (such as diabetes)

There's been issues surrounding EVERY diet drug proscribed to date. Amphetamines, phen-phen, and now Ozempic.

Some states have completely banned any drug proscribed solely for weight loss.

Most intelligent people know particularly after the horrendous debacle caused by Big Pharm’s COVID not-vaccines, never trust big pharma.

Apparently, our agencies and "representatives" are more easily bought off here in the US. There's more crap put in our food here than anywhere else in the world. For example, Fanta in the UK is yellow because the food coloring used in Fanta here is outlawed in the UK. Most other countries don't use high fructose corn syrup. Big Ag lobby in effect. The US and New Zealand are the only countries that allow direct to consumer advertising by pharma companies. Big Pharma lobby in effect.

From the video below - 50% of American adults and 30% of American teens have prediabetes. 25% of teens have fatty liver disease - formerly the province of old alcoholics. 10% of food stamp spend goes to soda. The European drug company that makes Ozempic, Novo Nordisk, can't sell Ozempic in Europe for weight loss. The EU is investigating suicidal ideation from Ozempic. Lots more..

Warn everyone you know to avoid this shit.

Many insurance companies won't cover them for weight management. They're not cheap. In some cases, though, morbid obesity represents a weight problem that is difficult to manage due to age, injury, accumulated illness, etc. that a prescription may be warranted.

If you want to blame someone, blame food/beverage companies for how much sugar, salt, and other shit they put into our food to make it an addictive product. Many of the foods we buy are engineered to be addictive.

There are proven studies that show the correlation between foods and chemicals like glyphosate introduced in the 80s ( deregulated by the crooked FDA and EPA ) and the dramatic rise in diabetes, cancer and all the other chronic diseases we're seeing .

And it's only getting worse in the US.... now that we have an unhinged big pharma with its' controlled media.

Diabetes and chronic disease (and obesity) are caused by we're overconsuming low-quality food and also because we're not that physically active anymore.

I have plenty of problems with Big Pharma, but developing a drug like Ozempic or WeGovy isn't one of them. Some people could benefit from it.

Those independent thinkers paying attention will understand that Pharma controls the government and does not give a damn about harming individuals.

Buyer beware. Ozempic is a dangerous drug, but very profitable.

I doubt that is an accurate statement. Tucker interviewed a young man, I think Means is his last name, who is very informed about that and other drugs. He claims that Ozempic works by basically shutting down in some way the digestive system. If true, that makes it dangerous in my book.

More, the very expensive drug is meant to be taken for the REST OF YOUR LIFE. Not for me, but I don't have a weight problem.

the people who are not diabetics are the ones who have the most problems with it.....they should not be taking it anyway....
