Our modern-day history lesson

Stop lying about Robinson. He was no leftist. You are supporting fascism. If you don't ike Kimmel, don't watch his show. Trump is polluting our nation and your and other people's support of this subhuman scum is going to cause the hammer to be brought down on this country in a way that no one will ever forget.
Tim Walz is a Communist. He knows the Chinese hierarchy well and him and his wife get their orders from them. For now, China is aligned with the ruling elites in Europe.

Sure it did. you had to break apart a sentence of mine. I made a claim then listed two examples to support it.
"Biden's lawfare was a massive violation of civil rights, from the 1/6 rioters, to Trump himself."

It what lawfare?

What civil rights violations?

That you call him, "comparitively benign" shows you to be shit talking.
You broke the sentence apart at the comma, between my point and my supporting examples.
Your bull shit lies.
To demand examples.

You are acting like a complete retard.

Which is very normal for libs these days.
Your retardation is no act.

Everything the nazis did after 1933 and their Enabling Act was legal, too.
And that is absolutely key.

The enablers (how ironic) can indeed point to what is happening and demand to see proof that it is illegal. Our laws have to make assumptions that people will adhere to their spirit. That's their weak spot. Our Founders knew it, and they specifically warned against exactly what is happening now.

OR, we have two parties that are deeply opposed to each other, but the rich use their money to buy influence with both and use that influence to protect their short term interests.

You want me to ignore the fact that the hard left is in charge of the dem party and is wants to kill me and mine.
lol. Yet the two parties agree on nearly every major policy issue. You haven’t realized this fact yet, and may never.

Do I need to explain this to you?

Trade and immigration are two major policy issues and trump winning has led to massive changes in both.

You are simply not correct.

Wrong. Your boy Dumb Don has many billionaires supporting him.

We can’t debate if you insist on being uninformed.

You are talking about "the rich" as though they are an unified group, operating as a group.

A few exceptions doesn't change the point that the "rich" generally speaking, were opposed to Trump. For clear policy reasons.

If you want to discuss policy or undue influence, we might be able to find common ground or at least have a reasonable discussion.

But right now you are pushing a false narrative of the current environment.

MAGA is a peasant revolt against the political class.

Lol. I expose your lack of knowledge and you ignore it.

Where have I stated the billionaires are a unified group?

They are unified in deceiving dumb ***** like you. They love to promote division, which is why they support the opposing two party narratives you always fall for.

I did not say that you SAID it, I said that you were discussing them as though they are an unified group operating as a group.

And you are.

Thus, my point that, generally speaking, the rich were against Trump and Maga, is both true and a valid counter point.

That historical fact is a real problem for your claim, ie that both sides, even MAGA, are controlled by the rich.

Your response, ie that there were a few billionaires on Trump's side, does not refute, or even slightly challenge my counter point.

So, you need to explain how this fits your claim, or admit that you cannot.

They agree on more war and blanket surveillance of citizens. They agree on more debt. They agree on no term limits. They agree on letting private bankers run the treasury. The agree on having no oversight over their members. You are correct.

"pulling licenses" will just push more people onto cable or streaming. It isn't a trump card trump wants it to be. There aren't that many broadcast TV stations owned and operated by networks any more--maybe 50-60 total in major markets

Dear Leader floats pulling licenses if networks are ‘against’ him after Jimmy Kimmel suspended

Looking at 2025 current events from a historical perspective. Say, 90 years ago:

A bold and brash intruder enters the scene, painting a picture of a once-great country that has fallen victim to "the other". He describes a current distopia so brutal and unforgiving that widespread pain and suffering are only days away. Then he announces the classic promise: "Only I can fix this", and enough of the public believes him and grants him power.

With each new individual and troubling move, the leader has two critical groups enabling him -- an intimidated and compliant government that is essentially paralyzed, and the street-level "useful idiots" (Lenin's term) who have an immediate, impulsive and aggressive excuse for the move, questioning the patriotism of anyone who doesn't comply, issuing vague threats of retribution.

Then the moves just keep piling up, and become more commonplace and normalized through sheer repetition. A large segment of the population are just living their lives and not paying particular attention to the details. One by one, corporations bend the knee and comply/capitulate. One by one, media outlets make their changes. One by one, opposing voices go quiet. What was once alarming is now just part of a daily flow.

And then, one day, it's in full effect.

God damn. Now we know what it looks like. Now we know "how they could have let this happen". I really didn't need to learn this first hand, though.
He didn't say licenses should be pulled from any broadcast company that has on air personalities who have made insensitive remarks about Kirk's murder. He said they should be taken away because...........

“They give me only bad publicity, press. I mean, they’re getting a license,” Trump said, according to audio from a press gaggle provided by the White House. “I would think maybe their license should be taken away,” Trump said.

"Publicity".

What an incredibly appropriate word to use.
