Every calorie, kilowatt, and drop of water must make its way to your location no matter how complex our economy is today. Doctors, nurses, and drugs must be available within a reasonable distance of your location. If you shut that down, you shut yourself down. If farms stop working, or trains, or power plants, who is gonna deliver that milk or drug to your local store?
