Don’t overlook the context, the same Jesus (in his body); is being seen coming from heaven. He left in the same body he was born with, a resurrected glorified body and He will return in the same body from heaven.
Scripture says that "at the sound of the last trumpet" (a metaphor for a prophet like Elijah who was called "the trumpet of God") Jesus will emerge from the clouds he disappeared behind, clouds that have obscured him from sight for millennia, and "every eye will see him" meaning everyone will understand what he was teaching and what he meant by the nutty things he said.
Remember what the men in white said? "Men of Galilee! Why are you looking up into the sky? This Jesus who was taken from you into heaven will return in the same way you saw him go."
Heres the thing.
If Jesus floated up into the sky why would the men in white ask why they were looking up and then say, he will return in the same way they saw him go, unless he did not float up into the sky?
He will return in the same way they saw him go. In the clouds of controversy not clouds in the sky
Smarten up! To be aware is to be alive.
