But what could draw the US into such a massive, insane project involving hundreds of thousands of ground troops?

Clark described how he was shown a classified memo at the Pentagon right after 9/11, and said another general told him with astonishment:

‘This is a memo that describes how we’re going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran.‘”

In a limited way -- Future Forecasting .
95% + of the Sheeple simply do not have that ability or , at best , only at a very rudimentary level.
