Don't the science classes at school teach science and rational thinking? So the balance is already there. Then their mission is about something else actually...

What this is, again, is an attempt to embody "we are the anti-religion people". Which in itself is a religion. So what we properly have making its way onto school grounds is a hate group whose sole existence is to oppose people of religious faith.

OK, they like logical deduction. Consider that when reading the next paragraphs:

Disdain for other religions has been their professed mission on every campus they've tried to (illegally) force their way into. By saying "we are for excluding religious teachings; that's our mission" is one and the same as saying "we intend to impart to children attending our club that the idea of religion, or being religious, is absurd or somehow wrong". Which is teaching one child to regard another child as "absurd or somehow wrong". Which is the same as teaching one child to be bigoted towards another.

I would say then that if it's OK to teach kids on school grounds to regard another demographic (the religious kids) as "absurd or somehow wrong", then it's perfectly fine to start a group on campus that teaches, for example, that the worst epidemic in modern history (HIV/AIDS) is being spread by anal sex; overwhelmingly between gay males. Complete with graphic scientific photos of AIDS patients and scientific discussions of the lower digestive tract and how it is completely susceptible to intra-blood introduction of microscopic things like unused food, liquids and viruses.

I mean, the Satan Club is all about science and logic, right?

Yeah, they're a religion saying "all other religions suck". And that's what their message is to kids on school. Which is teaching hate towards other groups arbitrarily even.

Know how they cause harm to others? By conjuring external deities to themselves. How's that for irony? And most importantly: dishonesty. Relevant to the discussion here since that is the means schools can keep them off grounds.

So they are in fact a religion that worships and draws upon an external entity; while claiming they are not as a ruse to gain access to school grounds to teach little kids to despise others who worship (other) external deities.

I'm sure the candles, the pig, cat and goat heads with an altar are "scientifically oriented"...One also has to wonder what delivering wrath means? And from a Satanist's point of view, what constitutes "reasonable limits". So they state they are intent on delivering wrath to those religions opposed to them. ie: also the child practitioners thereof on school grounds.

They are the epitome of a hate group, turned into a religion, which lies and says it isn't a religion, to get on school grounds and recruit by teaching kids to hate other kids of religion.

"The Satanic Temple has sent a letter of inquiry to Tucson Unified School District regarding holding an 'After School Satan' club at Roskruge Bilingual K-8. Our legal counsel has referred the organization to our policy requirements regarding after school clubs," read the statement.

Simple: enact bylaws that any group allowed on campus has to have a faculty sponsor. Bingo.
