II would place Russia as the world's strongest superpower now. The reason being their more advance missiles and their obvious ability to destroy all of America's aircraft carriers that come in range for the US aircraft to reach Russia.

But I find it all quite a moot point because neither will take the risk of meeting the other directly.

That being said, the US is the obvious aggressor throughout the world with starting over 40 wars of aggression since the end of WW2. That's no different with the war against Russia. Therefore Russia may eventually have to destroy America with its nuclear weapons. That would only be in defense of Russia.

We will need a bigger army. But only in a size between the 500,000 soldiers we had in the Cold War and the 2 or 3 soldiers we have now. And there are anyway big cultural differences how many soldiers we will need. Bavarians need a mimimum of 4 soldiers, because they play 'Schafkopf' - all other Germans only need 3 soldiers because they play 'Skat'. On the other hand, Bavarian soldiers always have a “battering ram” with them - their stubborn skull - so that they can also fight individually in case of doubt. By the way: The USA had in those days 250,000 soldiers in Germany.

But how many Russian soldiers Orban will need to defend his country Russia against the Hungarians I do not know. Once the Magyars had been great soldiers too - if I think about 1456 AD for example. Aside (as already stated) placing loads of $$ into the pockets of our hopeless politicians and making companies like Rheinmetall/KMW etc. reach record shareholder values.

Germany's society needs a transformation in the first place, in order to obtain a new set/genre of politicians - and I do not see that happening. The AfD is just as backward as those MAGA's - and the remaining other parties are simply not worth a discussion.

FYI - I served 20 years in the Bundeswehr and until today in other German national security related organizations in reference to Asia - so I had to watch the relentless demise of the Bundeswehr for 20 years - and I am fully aware about the causes and the part our asshole politicians played in this. Unfortunately the exact same assholes and their mindset are represented in ALL of today's German political parties.

Example:
Germany decides to produce/procure nuclear armed missiles. The moment the public gets to hear as to where these nuke units are going to be stationed - the respective community will be beleaguered by Greens, peace-lovers and every political opposition party - shouting, yelling, and right up to violently demonstrating against the stationing of such a unit.

People like Putin are absolutely aware/clear about this. This also being the reason as to why countries like Russia or China "rightfully" view Western countries to be weaklings right up to degenerates. Due to the imminent danger/proximity some Eastern countries face in view of Russia - and not having been totally brainwashed by US "fake-democracy" since 1945 - those Eastern European populations/societies (aside from the Czech Republic) and their politicians are an entirely different breed - as compared to those US bought Western politicians.
