Why would Germany (it's politicians) buy more weapon systems (aside from making Rheinmetall/KMW happy and their own pockets) if they can't even get their 1996 agreed 230,000 man strong Armed Forces manpower done until today?? present Total manpower is at 183,000.

As of September 2024, the German Army had a strength of 63,047 soldiers (Two Tank Div) - so who is going to operate, maintain, logistics&administration & combined arms combat support units, for those proposed additional 800 MBT's that would require an additional manpower of minimum 46,000 man. ??

They might be better off - buying those arms for Ukraine and asking them to "protect" Germany.

II would place Russia as the world's strongest superpower now. The reason being their more advance missiles and their obvious ability to destroy all of America's aircraft carriers that come in range for the US aircraft to reach Russia.

But I find it all quite a moot point because neither will take the risk of meeting the other directly.

That being said, the US is the obvious aggressor throughout the world with starting over 40 wars of aggression since the end of WW2. That's no different with the war against Russia. Therefore Russia may eventually have to destroy America with its nuclear weapons. That would only be in defense of Russia.
