Interesting. A lot to unpack there.
You asked a question/made a point, ie challenging me "who I was" to have a say in this issue, implying strongly that we own Ukraine an effective blank check, because they are defending themselves.
And I replied and answered, pointing out that I have a real role/stake in this war, as a part of MAGA.
First level. You made a point and when the point was counterpointed, instead of defending your point or conceeding your point, you simply moved on. At best the assumption is, that you are conceeding and moving on to other reasons that are part of the WHY of your policy posiiton.
BUT, we both know that is not the case. You didn't conceed, because you plan to use that again later, when you need to, even though that point has been refuted.
Second level. By making that point in the context of a discussion defending your position on the war, you thus had the unstated implication that that point was part of your belief system that led you to support the war. Yet, it being refuted, had no impact on you or your position. THus we see that that was not a true discussion point but just a talking point, you had been given, to throw at the wall, to see if it would stick.
So, that's a level of fail too.
And third level, and I think this is where it gets really interesting. This is that your response attacks teh idea that my feelings are relevant, while our previous point, was all about my stake in the war and my thinking or "feelings" that was the reason for me to have input at all.
That is you talking AGAINST YOURSELF, in the course of back to back posts. This reveals a very deep level of dishonesty from you in your defense of your position on this war.
And, most importantly, that has been what we have been seeing from ALL the pro-war faction people, everyone here, everyone in the media, everyone in politics. They ALL refuse to be honest about their reasons for their position. AT EVERY POINT.
One take away from this, is the obvious point that this means that their actual reason is so vile, that they know that they can't be honest about it, or they would lose EVERY DEBATE and discussion on the war.
And they know it. And they know that this war is killing people by the hundreds of thousands.
So, they are supporting a war that is killing large numbers of people, when they know that their reason is a bad reason, whatever it is.
That is very close to just being evil, like a comic book villian level of evil.
The only... line between them and a literal comic book character is that they have mastered the art of NOT THINKING of cause and effect. They have unlearned what we all learn as children, when we touch a hot thing and get burned.
They drift though life, where they take actions and make decisions and the obvious results are a complete shock to them, no matter how quickly or often the same thing happens after the same action.
There are actually additional levels of fail with the post you made, but I think I have listed enough.
