That's generally true but I think that the consensus here is that a woman also has to know basic stuff in the kitchen. In other words, no man can tolerate a woman who doesn't cook, doesn't matter how cute she looks in a skirt.

I enjoy cooking. My wife is not really a good cook but is a good kitchen helper if I need it. Lots of guys like to cook. Be interested in what he has to say and respect him as a man. A good man will return that respect in abundance. Don't pander to him if you sense he wants that, walk away. You are much too valuable a commodity to debase yourself. Hold your head high, be confident but not aloof.

Honestly, I would be so lucky, if I could find a guy who both meets my aesthetics and who also enjoys cooking.

I am actually not lazy, I am just really brain-dead when it comes to kitchen stuff. If my guy is willing to give me step-by-step instructions, like, "marinate this, peel that, and then grill them together", I can and will happily follow instructions. I just need someone to tell me what to do, you know, and I will do it happily.

In fact, I think that a lot of domestic bliss is found when the man and woman are cooking together in the kitchen. Imagine the fun they can have together, the laughter they can share, and the afterwards they will eat the dish they created together. Honestly if I could have this, I really would not ask for much else.

My brother was the cook in his home. My hubby, at the beginning of our marriage, was incredible with steaks and chops, so all I ever had to do was cook some pasta and get out a jar of pesto, and make a salad.

I have just realized how little I knew about guys and how their minds work. Before, I used to think that men just want to make lots of money and then use that money to impress and attract women. I never knew that these things, "giver" and "taker" exist in guys' consciousness.

Quick question for you: Do you think that well off guys sometimes will pretend that they are poor, as a sort of a "test", to see who really loves them for who they are, or who is just after their money? As in, they figure by pretending to be poor, they can weed out the pretenders from the contenders, that sort of things.

Wealthy guys do NOT flash anything to show off wealth. Driving used beat up pickup trucks, or almost antique luxury cars. That's their vehicles. They don't wear expensive watches....but they will live in nice homes in nice neighborhoods but do zero landscaping.

That's the truly wealthy....

Moderately well off?

They may hide their wealth but are less prone to hiding it so much. They'll have a nice new truck...maybe some brand name nice clothes to appear in. Occasionally being caught in nice restaurants. Drop names of places they have gone that are wealthy tourist spots like Caymans....

Because those with large amounts of wealth know that their wealth makes them prey instead of predators.

I used to hang out with a millionaires boys club. We sat around drinking coffee. (I was the talented but poor guy they liked)

Most guys that know they are going to eventually become wealthy come from wealthy families but work hard and steady. They build wealth slowly but consistently.
The biggest difference between them and guys like me is the advantages that come from having great connections with things like investors and expert advice.
They have goals in mind to achieve. Distractions are NOT in their plans....like a pretty girl. However an assistant who always seems to care about them as a person and always has talents and abilities that come in handy often? Now we are talking about a friendship that has possibilities...

However.....just as an FYI.
Visible tattoos, chaotic/troubled life, a social media influencer page (especially an onlyfans or similar) and they are outta there.
Guys just don't want the drama in their life....they have goals to achieve...and anyone bringing that into their life is going to find themselves on the outside quickly.

I don't have tattoos, but I do have a very chaotic life. I also kind of have a page on Gab.com. Guess I am two out of three.
