What can a woman do, if the man she likes won't ask her out? I am certainly not gonna go up to a guy and ask him out.

And I can really see it happening, as the sort of men I like are very, very good-looking. These men have options, and even though I am somewhat attractive, I am really very very far from a 10. I can really see these men just sitting back and seeing me as just one among the many that I am sure just doorstep them.

Grow some ovaries and ask him out.

One of my apprentices one day was talking about how he and his girlfriend were hooking up constantly....

So I asked him about protection as because he had a regular job making decent money and getting consistent raises....he needed to be careful about getting baby trapped for his paychecks.
He said he wasn't using anything. He didn't know if she was or not. But he hoped he didn't father any kids.

Then I hit him with the million dollar question:
"Since you say that you don't want children yet, what are you doing differently from a couple trying to have a baby?
Just wishing for different results is not going to make a difference here. "

He had nothing to say to that....and began thinking.....a LOT.

Means she doesn't know how to rely upon anyone, doesn't take responsibility for her own actions or attitudes. Blames everyone and anything else for her life choices. She might even be a witch. "Run Forrest Run!"

And young men?
Young dumb and full of.....well....it's an axiom for a reason.

Most of this epidemic of single people and lack of children for the next generation (and it is an epidemic) stems from an increase in narcissistic behaviors and attitudes. People are consumed with themselves instead of caring about others.
It's become normalized in today's society. Meaning that the once normal care and concern about others in your community is abnormal anymore.

You aren't different from most young people. You want to be loved but are terrified of giving it unconditionally (but appropriately) over and over again due to fears of heartbreak and heartache. (Which are somewhat valid concerns).

The group meeting where I described the two women, one who had a skin strawberry and the perfectly beautiful and well dressed woman. It wasn't so much the food/cakes that the guys found so appealing....it was her natural inclination to care about the people in her group in a real manner. Her bundt cake baking was solely her idea....no one suggested it. No one put her up to it. She simply recognized that people needed at least a snack (which she could easily predict and afford) and then she did something about it. Nothing expensive about making a scratch bundt cake. Just a few moments of free time.


Looking for opportunities to be kind is a lot more difficult than finding opportunities to be nice. Being nice requires nothing more than some sycophantic lip service. Being kind requires real care and concern. And good guys eat that stuff up and return it with generosity and loyalty.
