Oldest person on Earth dies -- last to be born in 1800's

I had a great grandmother, Italian, who lived until she was 99, and Matt's grandmother lived until she was 99 and I believe she was of Irish decent.

my Italian grandfather lived till his 91st year and my Italian grandmother till her 87th year.

but HOLY SMOKES! Well in to their hundreds!!!!!

The mom of one of my friends from high school daze (a long time ago) is Italian and in her late 80's and rides her bike with them almost every day.

Italian women are like Italian tires --

- dego thru rain
- dego thru mud
- dego thru snow
- dego thru ice
- dego thru everything
- and they never go wop wop wop wop wop !!!

:D

I'm hoping to see 70

(average for the males in my family)

I'm surprised I made it to 21
I was almost killed on 3 different occasions before I was 18.

Then almost 4 more times on my Honda superbike 750cc 4-K in my 20's.

Then once while freediving in my 40's.

Also about 5 times in my car when hit by female drivers.

That's at least 14 lives -- I am a super cat person !!!

This makes Violet Brown the oldest living person. She is about three months younger than Signora Morano, turned 117 last month. Violet Brown is thus the last living person known to have been born in the 19th century. Also the last living subject of Queen Victoria. She was born in, and still lives in, Jamaica.
