Getting back to the topic, Chicago is out of control and clearly needs an intervention

The Guv better hope that his state never gets as bad as Illinois

Gov. Kevin Stitt, the current chairman of the National Governors Association, broke with Texas, saying, “Oklahomans would lose their mind” if Illinois sent troops to their red state.

Gov. Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma, a Republican and the chairman of the National Governors Association, on Thursday criticized the deployment of Texas National Guard troops to Illinois as a violation of his beliefs in federalism and “states’ rights.”

His comments, in an interview with The New York Times, marked the first time a Republican governor has questioned the interstate deployment of National Guard troops over a governor’s objections. Gov. JB Pritzker of Illinois and other Democratic elected officials have been strongly critical of the move and have implored Republican governors to join the opposition.

Mr. Stitt stressed that he supported President Trump’s efforts to protect Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and ensure “law and order” in cities like Chicago and Portland, Ore. But he worried about the precedent that was being set by the guard deployment and how it could be used by a president from another party.

States Rights, that is what this all about, the RIGHT for STATES determine if the N,G. is needed. President X is overstepping his authority. He freaking desperate to distract/misdirect/redirect away from EPSTIEN FILES. The Congresswoman-Woman Elect has she will vote the release of those files. Little Mikey of the SMALL Johnson would have to release files when she seated. That would be embarrassing for Johnson.
This must be fake news

According to libs republican supporters of Trump march in lockstep behind him

The guv must have been misquoted

Kristi Noem Dumbstruck After Being Told Trump Admin Approved DC Shooter's Asylum Request.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was left dumbstruck Sunday when, after blaming the shooting last week of two National Guard members on the Biden administration, she was confronted with the fact that the suspect shooter actually had their asylum request approved under the Trump administration.

Last Wednesday, an Afghan migrant allegedly shot two National Guard members in Washington, D.C., killing one and leaving the other in critical condition. The suspected shooter, 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal, migrated to the United States after the 2021 U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and had also worked for the CIA for so-called counter-terrorism operations.

Speaking on NBC’s Meet the Press with Kristen Welker, Noem laid the blame for the shooting squarely on the Biden administration, arguing that the previous administration had put the United States in a “dangerous situation.”

His asylum was approved in April of this year on the Trump administration's watch, so just to be very clear, was there a vetting process in place to approve that asylum request?” Welker asked.
