Oklahoma Passes Bill Banning ALL Abortions - No Rape Exceptions - 10 years in Prison for Performing one

Oklahoma see’s value in the sanctity of life? What pieces of shit they are.
That is your belief... Even in your belief you can't point out where Jesus Christ said this.. So you are taking an interruption from the Bible..

You then you want push you beliefs on to others... Taliban style...

What gives you the right to tell someone how to live their lives because your beliefs?

So the states think it is ok for a mother to kill her baby?

I would say its a word game played by the state. It absolves itself of the killing, places the blame on the person who would perform the abortion...........knowing that a licensed doctor is never going to do that procedure and the woman will go to another state to have the abortion.

Yeah he did. Thou shalt not kill.

So, then you do not view the baby in the womb the same as the baby out of the womb.

Thanks!
It all depends on the stage of development of the fetus.

I don't think a two cell embryo is the same as a 9 month old fetus

I do agree that rape victims should be allowed to abort the child, but only if the rapist was convicted. Otherwise, everyone would be saying they were raped. That said, it’s their state, so their rules. Don’t like it? Move.
So you are saying in America someone can only live freely in a state as long as the follow the religious laws interrupted by local predominate religious leaders?

I would say it is an act of cowardice that proves they really do not view the baby in the womb as the same as the baby out of the womb.

According to the bible Adam wasn't alive until god breathed into him.

So it can be argued that a fetus isn't alive until it takes its first breath

Abortion is a unique situation because one side sees another person being willfully killed, and the other doesn't.

Kind of makes forcing someone to bake a cake over butthurt seem trivial, doesn't it?

There are plenty of secular arguments against abortion as well.

Let me know when we humanoids make an endangered species list and maybe then I’ll jump on board the anti abortion train.

The legislation bans all abortions except in the case of medical emergencies, and makes performing an abortion a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.

Women in Oklahoma must now keep their rape baby as an eternal reminder of what happened to them - the only exception is a medical emergency.

Thoughts?!
.

The Bill was designed to go all the way to the Supreme Court and revisit Roe v Wade.

Y'all can argue about the bullshit.
You can talk about a woman's choice, when Roe v Wade did little more than define her choices ...
and set the government's stipulations on those choices.

But Hey ... If arguing the Short Game makes you happy ... Rant On ...

The fuck is with your formatting?

Yep. I bet that is the same thing in Ok. But a woman can pay someone to kill her unborn baby and there is no charge or crime at all.

Does that seem consistent to you?
Perhaps when the Supreme Court got involved for some reason in the early 1970's there was an ulterior motive.

Yeah, but how do you charge someone of a crime that is legal in another state?
You can't.

I can smoke weed in my state but not in the neighboring state.

So anyone from that neighboring state can smoke weed with me and not get charged with a crime

Yeah he did. Thou shalt not kill.
Where did Jesus say that fetus is a baby? Abortion was pretty common at the time and he said nothing about it...

The Church has been inconsistent over time about abortion...

This absolute thing is only a more recent creation...

Can you show where it states that...

Here is one... So this has to be disproved first:

Genesis 2:7 is clearest. The first human became a "living being" (nefesh hayah, "a living breath") when God blew into its nostrils and it started to breathe. Human life begins when you start breathing, biblical writers thought. It ends when you stop. That's why the Hebrew word often translated "spirit" (ruah) -- "life force" might be a better translation -- literally means "wind" or "breath."

Remember you want to tell someone how to live their life because of a local recent interpretation of the Bible which you struggle to quote...

Yeah, but how do you charge someone of a crime that is legal in another state?

The answer is you can't, just like that stupid California law that puts restrictions on out of State pork sellers regarding feedlot conditions (that will hopefully be struck down by the SC)

I would oppose any State law criminalizing someone getting an abortion out of State. I guess Oklahoma decided to skip that issue entirely and target the doctors as they are controllable IN the state itself, with the action happening in the State itself.
