At the Federal level Republicans are no more Conservatives than Democrats are Liberals.
They are all Authoritarian Fascists and because the People keep granting them power over deciding who should be able to do what.

The only acceptable alternative is to limit their power, or at least bring it closer to where the People are governed.
Attempts to use the Federal Platform are based in the idea of leveraging the opinions of People who are not part of your community,
and generally for the precise purpose of dictating something they couldn't accomplish otherwise.

This is total insanity. Roe versus Wade came into being because of egregious abortion laws, and this law has to be the most egregious of all. On the news yesterday a woman who wanted to have a child and her husband just found out that the baby she was carrying was unviable at 23 weeks so she had to have an abortion. And going to the clinic, anti-abortion protesters further tormented her. This is why abortion should be a medical issue between a person and their doctor and the government should stay the hell out of the situation. They just f*** everything up.

I work in the healthcare industry, and I know about the possible side effects and warnings and whatnot for over-the-counter medications. I still have to remind myself to take them as seriously as they should be. I also know for a fact that the average person, with no medical knowledge, tends to think "over-the-counter" means "completely harmless". It is absolutely appalling to doctors and nurses just how little respect people have for OTC meds.

If, God forbid, my daughter were raped, I would certainly recommend that she take emergency contraception, but there's not a chance in Hell I would let her do it without consulting a doctor.

Don't let her go to a Christian hospital for the examination, they do not offer the day after pill, and they will push their propaganda on her. Also she should be put on pep or prep to prevent AIDS and checked for VD. Let's hope it never happens.
