Oklahoma Passes Bill Banning ALL Abortions - No Rape Exceptions - 10 years in Prison for Performing one

.

Yeah ... The Doctor's right to choose for the woman.
You might want to call your friends before you start beating that drum too hard.
If anything it sounds a lot like that "safe, legal and rare" nonsense.

.
Doctors don't push things on people, they advise, they're professionals, unlike you.

If the state has the audacity to force them to bear children, the state has assumed total responsibility for all the costs involved of raising that child. The birth mother has no responsibility whatsoever. It's all on them.
Amanda Berry was kept in captivity, repeatedly raped and forced to give birth to the daughter of her rapist.

Jaycee Dugard was kidnapped at 13, raped for years and forced to bear three children to a mentally deranged rapist.

Should these children be taken away and executed? Do you think their mother wants them dead? After all she was forced to be pregnant, had babies with no medical care.

As I said to begin with, the doctor will decide to care and yes I understand my mistake and suggesting prep but there must be something a woman can take to prevent getting AIDS and a doctor would know what that is.
No. There is no medication available to women that would prevent AIDS. You might say that women were forced by the state to contract and suffer from AIDS.

Horse shit. Men can’t get abortions either. So stow your second class nonsense. If anything it rectified the second class status of unborn children.
You want to give citizen rights to fetuses. Sorry I don't think they need the qualifications.

I think this is about the most invasive you can get in attacking a person. This law made all women in the state of Oklahoma second class citizens. And it's already causing harm in more ways than you can imagine. The law is both illegal and against the Constitution.

It makes nobody a second class citizen anymore than saying recreational narcotics or driving while drunk are illegal. As far as the Constitution goes, what are you going to do if they overturn Roe and several states make abortion totally illegal under any circumstance? Those girls will just have to go to another state to get an abortion.

Not sure I can make sense of what you’re trying to say here…

The exceptional cases you mentioned. Being a captive, no doubt these women turned inward and despite the horrible circumstances of conception and their dreaded conditions they bonded with their children no doubt. I just hope there's no lingering side effects that endangered the children or the women. They've suffered enough.

Keep thinking that as these desperate women try to live their lives. State-caused desperation.

So it doesn't matter if the doctor says it is a good idea or not.
The woman can still choose to do whatever she wants.

If you are trying to make any other point, she cannot get an abortion unless a doctors thinks it is okay ...
Because the doctor is who executes the abortion if it is legal.

There is no need to even include the doctor in your argument, if your point is that the woman should be making the choice.

Our nation extends our rights to all within our borders. Regardless of citizenship.

Not sure I can make sense of what you’re trying to say here…
A fetus is not a child, left alone and with a lot of luck it will become a child at birth. That birth date is very important. It is significant because that is one of the determining factors of citizenship. When the government recognizes a person.

Women seldom make these decisions on their own they consult with doctors that's what I'm saying. Use your common sense.

Genetics handily prove it a homo sapien at its appropriate stage of development for its age. There’s no chance of it developing int a zebra.

The legislation bans all abortions except in the case of medical emergencies, and makes performing an abortion a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.

Women in Oklahoma must now keep their rape baby as an eternal reminder of what happened to them - the only exception is a medical emergency.

Thoughts?!

IVF
If I am reading this right they are effectively banning IVF & other fertility treatments... as well...
"Unborn child" means the unborn offspring of human beings from the moment of conception, through pregnancy, and until live birth including the human conceptus, zygote, morula, blastocyst, embryo and fetus;

The create many blastocysts for IVF treatment and select the best for fertility... So the ones not used would be either murder 1st degree as it would be premeditated.

After that, this is a shockingly bad written law. It is full of gaps.
Look at this alone:

“Medical emergency” means a condition which cannot be remedied by delivery of the child in which an abortion is necessary to preserve the life of a pregnant woman whose life is endangered by a physical disorder, physical illness or physical injury including a life-endangering physical condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself.
There is no mention of who makes the call, where is the burden of proof... A doctor could perform abortion all day and who is to say he is wrong. All pregnancies carry a certain amount of risk, that is not defined either.

They are required to consult with a doctor by law ... It's not "seldom", and it doesn't matter whether or not they want to.
What point are you trying to make ... Because that is a non-sequitur.

Agreed, the genetics are there for it to develop into a human being like I said. But a million things could go wrong, especially if the woman who is pregnant does not want a child. And that is human and that is understandable.

Just as poorly written as some of the ones in Blue States which can be interpreted to support infanticide if the mother chooses so, and the doctor attending concurs.

Roe made this fight pause for 40 years, hardening both sides, and you are surprised by things like this?
