Um, my wife is a Chinese national. She works hard, most of her friends work hard. If Americans had the Chinese work ethic, we could solve 90% of our problems. We used to. We lost it.

Chinese students add to our academic life by bringing in new perspectives and scholarship. That's why Universities are so happy to get them.

The Chinese currently hold $749.00 Billion in US Debt. All they have to do is start selling those T-bonds, and the T-bond market will crash. Especially if the Japanese follow suit, which they probably would.

(Japan and China are the two largest holders of 8 Trillion in US Debt owed to foreign countries.)

And given that the Big Buffoonish Bill will add trillions more in debt, the last thing we need to do is piss off our creditors.
