they only ended up paying about $5,400 to cover their deductible and co-pay, the couple said they were shocked by the price of treatment.

This has nothing to do with the ACA.

The prices would have been the same last year.

I don't see where it says they have aca ins

and reading the billing, it looks like they have co-ins. co-ins has a very low premium, but you get ass fucked if you have to use it b/c you get a 10-25% co-pay of the costs
