Historic profits. Part of that is due to the Chamber of Commerce, who gives to Republicans 9 to 1 over Democrats, working with China to move millions of jobs there to China. Those Bush tax cuts were well spent. Takes money to move jobs overseas. It's been such a success, Republicans are now envious and want us to be "more like China".

Yeah, ed. You must have real issues, if you look at unemployment going from about 5% to over 25% following Hoovers policies. Until just after electing Roosevelt, when he instituted stimulus spending.

But the Hoover plan IS your plan. Don't do that nasty stimulus spending, that brought the unemployment rate back down to 14% by 1937. Unfortunately, congress convinced Roosevelt to stop stimulus spending, and we dropped back into a recession. Took another year of spending to get things moving in the right direction again. And then, the greatest of all stimulus', WWII came along. You may have noticed that the country was very happy with Roosevelt, kept reelecting him until he died.

Just think, Ed. We could have had 40% unemployment with your plan. You say libs are slow, which is great praise, considering the source. Consider that two of your repub heroes presided over the two worst economic disasters in US History. The great depression of 1929, and the great recession of W in 2007 - 2008.
