obama said he's good at killing people. He wiped out a wedding party in yemen

"Fifteen people on their way to a wedding in Yemen were killed in an air strike after their party was mistaken for an al Qaeda convoy, local security officials said on Thursday.

"The officials did not identify the plane in the strike in central al-Bayda province, but tribal and local media sources said that it was a drone.

"An air strike missed its target and hit a wedding car convoy, ten people were killed immediately and another five who were injured died after being admitted to the hospital," one security official said..."

"The United States has stepped up drone strikes as part of a campaign against Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), regarded by Washington as the most active wing of the militant network."

Does anyone know (or care) how "active" AQAP was on Obama's first day in office?

Due to a glitch, there was an unfortunate unintended consequence.

(new pat answer for every screw up made under the Obama administration)

Insight: In Yemen, al Qaeda gains sympathy amid U.S. drone strikes | Reuters

"Mohamed, brother of the dead (by drone) Qawli, told Reuters: 'These (drone) strikes create more terrorism. In our area there was never anyone linked to al Qaeda. After the strike, everyone in the area started listening to al Qaeda types, exchanging videos on mobile phones.'

"He said that many houses in his area now fly a black flag carrying an Islamic expression of faith - a symbol al Qaeda often uses.

"U.S. Congressman Alan Grayson, a Democrat representative in Florida, told Reuters that according to one U.S. official who served in Yemen, 'every drone death yields 50 to 60 new recruits for Al Qaeda.'

"Grayson, who recently participated in a Congressional briefing that included relatives of victims of drone strikes, described the drone policy as 'ineffective.'"

You will find that the democrat left will poo poo this story. After all they now know that we are at war with terror, very unlike what they said during Bush. No, the liberal left liberals are now all in love with killing. This type of killing is just their cup of tea. Kill whomever with impunity with no risk to themselves. Killin' at a distance, perfect. Wedding party? 16 Year old American innocent citizen, no problem he just should have had a better father.

The right ain't no better.

That "recruiting" stuff is just BS. Obama is a Democrat bombing wedding parties would only recruit the enemy if there were a republican in office, everyone knows that as fact.

Here is the problem with the drone program. They, the CIA, pays for informants to place GPS trackers on target cars. They pay those people very well. Well what if you just didn't like someone? Why not place a GPS device on their car? What if this were a jealous lover?

What RIGHT does ANYONE in the world have to send drones into countries that are not at war? During Bush the left screamed about war in Iraq. At least we were at war with that country, but Yemen? Pakistan?

"'"As I went back through the Pentagon in November 2001, one of the senior military staff officers had time for a chat. Yes, we were still on track for going against Iraq, he said. But there was more. This was being discussed as part of a five-year campaign plan, he said, and there were a total of seven countries, beginning with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia,Sudan and finishing off Iran." [147]

Possibly, with Iran temporarily off the table, Pakistan and Yemen will suffice to satisfy the blood lu$t of Pentagon ghoul$ and jealou$ defen$e contractor$?

One of the reasons this happened is that obama has eliminated what intel on the ground we had. His betrayal and lying has caused whoever would help us to run away. So we had no one to tell us that this was just a wedding party.

I really don't think that would have saved anyone. Unless, of course, it was the wedding of a same-sex couple in which case Obama might have jetted over to offer congratulations.
