I never had the opportunity but would have jumped at the chance. One of my favorite bands of all time.I saw the Eagles in concert twice.
Randy Meisner had a cold and his voice wasn't in top form when he refused to sing "Take It To The Limit"Was Randy M "fired" for refusing to sing "Take It to the Limit" as an encore one night? Said his voice wasn't up to it.
I seen them dudes a couple years ago in Pittsburgh. I was in the nosebleed seats, but the stage lighting was great, as was the sound system. It was amazing how they reproduced their great hits flawlessly.
I could take them or leave them.
I did like this one:
I believe I like this one because Jackson Browne co-wrote it with Glen Frey.
"Take It Easy," the Eagles' debut single released in May 1972, was originally started by Jackson Browne in 1971 for his own album but he struggled to finish it while living in Echo Park, Los Angeles Wikipedia+1. Glenn Frey, who lived in the apartment above Browne, heard the unfinished song and contributed key lines, including the iconic second verse: "It's a girl, my lord, in a flatbed Ford, slowin' down to take a look at me" Wikipedia+1. Browne was pleased with Frey's additions, and they agreed to complete the song together, resulting in the version recorded by the Eagles American Songwriter+1.
I was originally going to say my top three favorites but other people have posted good ones as well. Here's another good one.
