Here is a fun fact.

The state of MA had their own health care, which was Romneycare. And yes, Romney was a Republican. But as the time to vote for Obamacare was approaching, Senator Kennedy from MA had found out he had brain cancer. The problem with that was, his vote was needed to pass Obamacare but he did not know if he would be around to cast that vote. Sure enough, he had to step down before voting, but before he did he tried to change the laws around so there would not be a run off election to replace him. But to make a long story short, he failed. Then enters one Republican Scott Brown who inexplicably ran against Obamacare, because the people of MA were happy with the health care they had in MA. And for the first time in about 50 years, a Republican won the seat of Kennedy to stop the vote. How did Obamacare pass then? They passed it using a thing called Reconciliation, to bypass the democratic vote of the people of MA.

I have no problem with states running health care, but I do have a problem with the Leviathan and corrupt Federal government doing so. Obamacare proves it as Obamacare created massive pots of money via Medicaid that is currently being looted around the country.

It's the costs. The GDP of our nation is 30 trillion dollars. The amount of it that is medical is 6 trillion dollars. Around 20%. If we have national health insurance the costs will really jump. We spend far more for medical and schooling than any other nation.

So that means if americans cannot afford Healthcare then wages here are woefully lagging way way way way behind where they should be for the working masses. And this is at a time when we need people retiring earlier in life, not later.
