You need to close the doors get your knife and do the right thing, It will be a much easier death for you than the slow crying for the next twenty years of conservative presidents, congress, supreme court, and the next term probably 75% of the governorships and state trifectas. What the intransigence of the government does is basically render the President powerless in many cases. So if you're the author of 14 journal articles on the Constitution and a professor of law, have held high government office before...matters little if you're going to be President and not get anything done.
