The answer is no and this article sums it up best.. He is a self indulgent Community Organizer who doesn't have the time nor does he care to make the time to lead this nation. He has fundraisers, vacations, golf outings , photo ops, WH concerts- who the hell has time to govern?

This is pretty much what I have come to expect from our current President it's just who he is and it's not going to change the tyrants dictators,and radical extremist are going to do as they please and we may as well get used to that for the next few years.

I agree, military action is not called for. The point of my post was to show that all this cheering for Reagan, and all the comparing, is foolish. I do however remember being pissed off at Reagan not being more forceful about searching the crash site.

It's most likely that the missile that brought down MH17 was fired inside Ukraine, by pro-Russian separatists, a preliminary classified analysis by U.S. intelligence says.

CNN's Barbara Starr has learned that the analysis, although preliminary, concludes the missile was from a Russian made BuK system, also known by NATO as an SA-11.

Starr heard the details of the analysis from a U.S. defense official who has direct access to the latest information but who declined to be identified due to the sensitivity of the information.

“We cannot say with complete certainty but we do not think the missile came from the Russian side of the border,” the official said. “All the indications are it was fired from inside eastern Ukraine.”

I have found no confirmation any Americans died, if you have, please provide any info. Alsp "admiring Putins strength" is like admiring Hitler and Stain's "strength". Both killed millions. Putin supporters are back tracking it appears.

It's a matter of priorities. Fundraising for democrats, even democrats running away from him, is the single most important function of this presidunce. Everything pales in comparison to fundraising.

It is true, military action is not called for because this is likely an accident by someone who thought they were shooting down a cargo plane and did not intend to shoot down a passenger plane. The solution is for Ukraine to recognize the vote of Donetsk and let the region go the way Crimea went. As it is, doing nothing is going to give Russia an excellent excuse to overtake Ukraine and restore order so that more aircraft are not shot down.

This is not going to do anything at all.

The sanctions imposed by the Treasury Department would ban people in the United States from providing new financing to two major Russian banks and two major Russian energy firms, which would in effect limit their access to U.S. capital markets

US intelligence reports knowledge was required to send the rocket, perhaps our intelligence is incorrect; I contnue to see more support for Russia than the USA here, that is troubling.
