Obama fundraises while Putin runs amok

Pretending the Russian rebels in Ukraine are 9 year old kids just highlights your sympathies with Mother Russia.

The fact that you did not get it shows me a lot about you....

But seeing as you are somewhat naïve in the use of metaphors and analogies....I will restate it....

If a gun owner gave a gun to someone who admittedly never held one and has no idea how it works...and tells that person to use it anyway...and that person shoots himself in the head accidentally because he didn't know which way was up...

Was it a suicide or was it negligence, possible homicide on the gun owners part?

US intelligence reports knowledge was required to send the rocket, perhaps our intelligence is incorrect; I contnue to see more support for Russia than the USA here, that is troubling.

The same US intelligence agency that said Saddam had WMD's?

What did Obama do?
He banned the sale of the sale of all Russian-made AK-47 semi-automatic rifles, Saiga-12 shotguns, and all other firearms and parts manufactured by Kalishnikov.
This is not going to do anything at all.
He should put sanctions on Russian Oil.

A strong leader puts sanctions where it really hurts not what Obama did, which is nothing.

Guess what?

The sanctions imposed by the Treasury Department would ban people in the United States from providing new financing to two major Russian banks and two major Russian energy firms, which would in effect limit their access to U.S. capital markets

Announcement of Treasury Sanctions on Entities Within the Financial Services and Energy Sectors of Russia, Against Arms or Related Materiel Entities, and those Undermining Ukraine's Sovereignty

The U.S. Ambassador Power is making the announcement on this right now.
It should be our President making this announcement not our ambassador.

Why do you jump to the conclusion that it has to be war?
No one wants war.
Being a strong leader does not mean you have to go to war.

zzzzzzzzzzzzz

riiiight.... sanctions aren't nuffin...

the UN isn't nuffin...

he should put on his white hat like in blazing saddles, right?

get a job...

But before you do, let me edumucate you, you make believe attorney that you claimed to be before we allowed you to prove you weren't.....

You put sanctions on the Russian oil companies.......and they will cower.

And if they don't?

At least you did something to show "don't fuck around".....

Or do what Obama does...fundraise.

Now....run along little girl......and get a real job. Those make believe "attorney" jobs don't generate income for food for all of those cats you have sitting around your alcove studio apartment

When the Europeans put sanction on Russian oil companies, where are they going to get the oil to sustain their economy? I believe they are dependent on Russian oil and natural gas for a large percentage of their needs.

Obama may be at a fund raiser or playing golf. He doesn't have time for the trivial stuff.

It's Chicago style politics.
Put the Ambassador out there and see how it plays out.
Then if the people are receptive he will come out and talk about it later

Not any longer.
How dependent is Europe on Russian gas? by EU Energy Policy Blog

Russia remains the largest exporter of gas to the EU, with total annual exports of 130 bcm today. But since the early 1980s, and particularly over the past decade, import growth from other countries has outpaced that from Russia. Since 1990, 80% of the growth in European gas imports has originated from countries other than Russia, especially Norway, Algeria, Nigeria and middle eastern countries. Accordingly, Russia’s share of EU gas imports has declined sharply, from 75% in 1990 to just over 40% today . The share of EU gas consumption covered by Russian imports grew rapidly in the 1970s and 1980s, peaking at 30% in the early 1990s before stabilising at about 25%. Yet as a share of Europe’s primary energy consumption, gas imports from Russia have stabilised since 1990 at around 6.5%.

"HOW THE R-WINGERS SEE PUTIN" :eusa_clap:

obama should avoid war with Russia, not at any cost, but at All COSTS. There is no price too big to pay for "peace". A quick surrender would do nicely.

More Breaking news...the president is late for his 11:30 remarks. He bid three spades and his partner passed. He's pissed.

Russia is allowing WMD's to fall into the hands of non government organizations referred to by various governments as insurgents, rebels, terrorist, etc. Russia is in violation of a long list of international laws and treaties by doing so.
Ukraine is in desperate need of an air defense system that can protect aircraft from random attacks by groups that may obtain Russian surface to air missiles.
Few nations will disagree with these assessments.

Obama escalates economic sanctions against Russia - CBS News

This new round of sanctions is broad, targeting two major Russian financial institutions, Gazprombank OAO and VEB, and two Russian energy firms, OAO Novatek and Rosneft, by limiting their access to U.S. capital markets. The U.S. also sanctioned more Russian government officials and blocked the assets of several Russian arms firms that produce materials ranging from small arms and mortar shells to tanks

I see the nutters are still on Putin's side.

Yeah that's what we want is Russian becoming a strong nation again. :cuckoo:

It is what Obama wants. He doesn't think that America should be a strong leader.

You're all cheering Putin on. Every other day you nits talk about impeaching Obama and Putin commits a war crime and what do you do? Jump on Obama.

It is infinitely clear that you can't bring yourself to do the right thing, which is to call for Putin's ouster via getting the EU to join the sanctions and cut off Putin's balls with the resulting economic crash of Russia.

No, you'd rather just hope Obama will get blamed.
