“On Aug. 3, 2021, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced “The Key to NYC” mandate which, beginning Aug. 17, requires patrons of indoor dining, indoor fitness, and indoor entertainment and performances to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.”

Now, what I don’t understand is, why are they allowing those who are transmitting the virus into New York City public accommodations?

We all know a covid free person does not threaten to transmit covid to anyone!

But our Covid hysterical crowd unwittingly gives a pass to those who have been vaccinated, allowing them to mingle in public accommodations even though fully vaccinated are spreading the virus ___ and they even go on to adopt a Draconian mandate " no vax, no service " to all others, even those who cannot transmit the virus because they are covid free.

”The suit says that the mandate is “arbitrary and capricious” for a slew of reasons including that the highly contagious COVID-19 Delta variant can spread among both vaccinated and unvaccinated people, the court documents claim.”

”The mandate also doesn’t accommodate certain exceptions for getting vaccinated such as those who’ve already gotten the virus; those who are allergic to ingredients in the vaccine; those who have pre-existing conditions that make getting the vaccine risky; and those whose religious beliefs stop them from getting it, the filing argues.”

The article goes on to hit another nail on the head by pointing out the only people competent to make the decision to get the jab is with a doctor and his/her patient, and not a politician.

Let us consider a common sense government policy with respect to the covid outbreak, as opposed to a hysterical, illogical and tyrannical approach which is now taking place, especially in a few states.

• The most important responsibility of our governments’, state and federal, is to present accurate information, which may then be used by the general public to deal with the threat on their own terms. Keep in mind, there are exceptions when extreme circumstances may present themselves that may require government’s temporary and unusual policies . . . but such policies ought never impinge upon the inalienable rights of Citizens of the United States.
• It has been established that the survival rate from Covid is about 99.9 %
• It has been established that those most vulnerable to severe illness and death from the virus are the elderly and those with pre-existing medical conditions.
• It has been established that children are less likely to get the virus, and less likely to have symptoms if they do, in addition to not being a significant transmitter of the virus
• It has been established that those who are vaccinated stand a better chance of avoiding a life threatening bout with the virus or death.
• It has been established that those fully vaccinated can, and are, transmitting the virus.
• It is common sense that covid free individuals are not transmitting the virus.
• It has been established that masks, which are currently being used by the general public, have little effect in protecting the wearer, and do more to reduce the distance a viral load can be transmitted by a wearer to others in the immediate vicinity. Masks give a false sense of security.
• It has been established that various treatments are now available, which if used during the first 7-10 days of being infected with the virus, are highly effective in avoiding serious illness from the virus.

Now, wouldn’t it be great if our governments’, state and federal, disseminated accurate information so the general public can deal with the outbreak in their own chosen ways, and refrained from using the covid outbreak to impose government mandated Draconian measures which trample upon the inalienable rights of citizens of the United States, and especially those who are covid free?

Common sense, above, is a dangerous pressuposition. Viral loads are the same in the throats and mouths of vaccinated and unvaccinated. Asymptomatics trump common sense.
