Well, I think we can all get along and pretty much did for some time ... until the Left and Democrats decided to fire things up for cheap political gain. And now, with their constant braying about "racism", and convincing millions of people that they're born victims and can never break out of that victimhood, you have a whole lot of people who live for confrontation, driven by unreasonable hatred.
This is what Democrats do.

Why do whites lie you lie to themselves about these things? Nobody is doing what you claim. The only people telling themselves they are victims are white men.

There is no shortage of martial arts schools in big cities.

When she tried to cross the street and he blocked her pushing her back putting his hands on her, that was her opportunity right there. Besides kicking him in the nuts or chopping him in the throat, his extended arms offered all most martial arts need to apply a wrist lock, arm lock, or judo flip. This is not rocket science.

NYC is chock-full of places that teach self-defense. Presenting weakness by backing up and walking away just invites attack. Turning your back just makes you utterly defenseless.

Unless she was trained to the level of a black belt, in a legit martial art, she has very little chance.

I never had kids, although I do have three step-kids, two daughters. I would encourage any parents to pursue martial arts for their kids, particularly their girls.

My daughter is well trained in the art of ching ching pow.

Don't kid yourself. Little japanese girls do it all of the time against guys 4X their size using aikido. It is all about redirecting the other's person's energy, not using your own, so really, this girl's small size was pretty irrelevant.

The guy who invented aikido was himself a pretty small japanese guy.

Of course, I'm not suggesting a small girl can be a master fighter like in a Bruce Lee or Kill Bill movie, that takes a lifetime commitment, but she can certainly with a reasonable effort learn to put up a reasoned good fight against most guys, but she put up no fight at all, she was an antelope just trying to walk away. She was utterly unprepared for the reality of walking the streets of NYC.

No, she can't. My girl is bigger than most, and has karate training, but a bigger boy, can simply manhandle her because of the disparity in strength.

This poor girl is small. She has nowhere near the strength needed to handle a boy his size.

If she were a black belt in BJJ, or Judo, she would have about a 50/50 chance of winning. She would need to be absolutely perfect though, if she misses, she's doomed.

Possibly but still, she just turned her back letting the punk grab her by the head and just throw her down. Had she stood her ground, she might have at least broken her fall and avoid almost getting her skull cracked in. The fact that she was so small and defenseless just compounds the error of turning her back while not having some plan, some weapon, to protect herself. I think the girl was struck blind with fear.

She could have sprayed him with mace, stabbed him with a knife or an ice pick, shot him with a gun, thrown salt in his eyes, or, if she was trained in shodokan aikido, she could have kicked his ass. Little Japanese women throw big guys across the room with that.

You just don't turn your back on someone threatening you, ever. Especially twice your size.

West, you are comparing apples and oranges. Karate is a system of lateral blocks, punches and chops, shodokan aikido is totally different and involves locks, traps, and a redirection of force.

Karate gives a girl an inherent disadvantage against a bigger guy, whereas aikido actually favors a smaller, lighter person.
