Most Aikido students could not fight their way out of a wet paper bag. It is an interesting martial art, with an interesting history, but, it would not have helped the teenager in the video.

It's hard to think of young teenagers living in such violent circumstances. If you think about it,,, they are (in a sense) incarcerated in their inner cities schools. Adults can say "screw this, I quit and I'm moving." These kids do not have that option. Quite sad.

I know, but teens should have the right to protect themselves with the right training. Possibly even pre-teens could do it. How many more children are going to be murdered before something is done to fix it?
