New York is now hiding their COVID19 deaths in Nursing Homes by under counting them, or accurately counting them differently than CDC guidelines state as the case may be.

The share of deaths linked to long-term care facilities for older adults is even starker at the state level. In 24 states, the number of residents and workers who have died accounts for either half or more than half of all deaths from the virus.​

Infected people linked to nursing homes also die at a higher rate than the general population. The median case fatality rate — the number of deaths divided by the number of cases — at facilities with reliable data is 17 percent, significantly higher than the 5 percent case fatality rate nationwide. -New York Times....​

And while New York ranks at the bottom of the pack when it comes to LTC facility deaths as a percentage of overall deaths in the state, New York nursing homes come in 2nd on the list after New Jersey in terms of overall deaths in LTC facilities, at 6,432. ​

Anyone notice how New York is mysteriously at the bottom of the list of states?

Oh, but those 6k deaths in the nursing homes are just coincidental, nothing to do with COVID19.

Yeah, what the doofus doesn't know (among a very long list of other things) - those 70 and older account for 80 to 90% of the Covid-19 deaths. Well, he sort of knows it, because that exact statistic allows the sclerotic ghouls to demand that those younger go eff'n back to work to make the plutocrats some serious money. After all, their death rate is so low.

So, given the age of the average nursing home patient, it was always clear that they would account for a significant portion of the death toll, once the virus found its way into one of these homes. The ways for the virus to get there are numerous. What the doofus also doesn't know is, there hasn't been a single outbreak in a New York nursing home that could be traced back to a hospital patient admitted back to a nursing home. So, it would appear, the New York nursing home administrators did take some precautions, and seemingly better ones compared to other States'. But that inconveniences the hyperventilating goof, and so the usual tool of demented nitwits to fend off inconvenient facts is being deployed: It has to be lying - fake news.

Waving the bloody shirt, of course, has a long tradition. Still, waving the flabby corpses of the elderly for political gain should be in a category of its own.
