"At an AEI event in 2013, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who at the time was Senate minority leader, said Ornstein was "a good, old-fashioned, far-left guy." Congressmen aren't supposed to be the president's lapdog.

I dunno about that, but he should have been pulled from his spot as Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee the first time he pulled his shit over a year ago. No one that obviously in the President's pocket should be heading a committee that TRIES to stay bipartisan. Their later "findings" show what happens when such a biased Chairman is allowed to stay. I don't know what they were thinking over there.
