Both are great in their own way but Tombstone has more quotable lines.

I adore Tombstone, though it also had a few real cringey parts too.

Wyatt Earp bored the hell out of me.

Both are good but Tombstone is slightly better. I can't think of another Kurt Russell western so that was a good way to go.
Costner's best was Open Range for me but both Dances With Wolves & Silverado make a good case.
The final shootout in Open Range was awesome

At the time Wyatt Earp was supposed to be the big hit. But Tombstone became a hit. They were released relatively close to each other.
