Nothing will change in DC, matter of fact, it might get WORSE.....

Does anyone else think that either candidate has the power to change DC, or are you like me and feel like it's just gonna be more of the same gridlock?
You know, each candidate is promising that they can reunite the country and lead all of us, as well as are promising to go to Washington and get things done.

Well, if Hillary is elected, the GOP is going to waste even more time on investigating her emails than what they did trying to get rid of the ACA. Not only that, but because the GOP has solidly been against first her husband Bill, and now her, the chances of anything getting done are zilch. If Hillary says the sky is blue, the GOP will scream up and down that it's red. Anything she wants to accomplish is going to be solidly blocked by the GOP.

If Trump is elected, it's not going to be better either. Why? He's managed to piss off almost the entire Republican leadership, and many of them say they don't like or support him, but they will vote Trump anyway because he's not Hillary. Not only that, but Trump doesn't seem to have much of a grip on either foreign OR domestic policy, so if Trump is elected, he's gonna end up being a puppet, just like Jr. was for Cheney, because Pence is going to have to tell him what to say and how to act. Not only that, but there are a lot of things that Trump stands for that the GOP leadership disagrees strongly with.

Either way, Congress is going to do their level best to block either candidate from getting things done.
The voters seem to prefer divided government, where neither party has an advantage.

And most voters voting for Clinton are interested in preserving that which they have achieved over the years: workers’ rights, voting rights, necessary, proper regulatory policy, women’s rights, the rights of gay and transgender Americans; achievements immune from attack by a Republican Congress.

Bullshit... Clinton won't preserve balanced anything. She wants to import a bunch of clueless 3rd world people in so she can keep the Clinton/Bush dynasty going. When you have lost the arguments, import a bunch of votes!

The gridlock and hyper-partisanism have completely such down the political/legislative component of the Federal government.

The only component of the Federal government which is still functioning is the judiciary.

And that’s how the next president will affect change, through judicial appointments to the Federal courts and the Supreme Court.

Needless to say, Trump would seek to bring about change for the worst, by making appointments hostile to the rights and protected liberties of Americans, placing them in jeopardy.

Clinton would seek to make appointments faithful to the Constitution and its case law, defending the rights and protected liberties of all Americans.

Thankfully Trump won’t be president.

"Needless to say" is not a proof of anything, jackass.

Hitlery wants to reunite DC....to destroy America...

Trump wants to reunite America....to destroy DC.....

So simple, even a double digit IQ knuckle drager like the OP can get what the right thing to do is....

Trump is going to be a puppet?

Doubt that...

I wouldn't say he would be a puppet but he has zero experience with Washington politics. He will defer much of that to Pence.

Hillary a uniter?

Republicans: Deplorable
Blacks never do wells who must be brought to heel
Hispanics: needy
Bernie supporters: basement dwellers

How is she even competitive today? She must be down by 20-30%

You mean Washington has zero experience with a leader put forward by we the people.....

Washing will adapt to Trump, or they will cease to exist.....it's really pretty simple what they will have to do.....

Change it to what? This election was about maintaining the status quo.
