You know, each candidate is promising that they can reunite the country and lead all of us, as well as are promising to go to Washington and get things done.
Well, if Hillary is elected, the GOP is going to waste even more time on investigating her emails than what they did trying to get rid of the ACA. Not only that, but because the GOP has solidly been against first her husband Bill, and now her, the chances of anything getting done are zilch. If Hillary says the sky is blue, the GOP will scream up and down that it's red. Anything she wants to accomplish is going to be solidly blocked by the GOP.
If Trump is elected, it's not going to be better either. Why? He's managed to piss off almost the entire Republican leadership, and many of them say they don't like or support him, but they will vote Trump anyway because he's not Hillary. Not only that, but Trump doesn't seem to have much of a grip on either foreign OR domestic policy, so if Trump is elected, he's gonna end up being a puppet, just like Jr. was for Cheney, because Pence is going to have to tell him what to say and how to act. Not only that, but there are a lot of things that Trump stands for that the GOP leadership disagrees strongly with.
Either way, Congress is going to do their level best to block either candidate from getting things done.
