The reason I asked is that it seems that people who play guitar don't like guitar hero and vice versa. Reminds me of the South Park episode where the kids choose guitar hero over actually playing a guitar.

Well, GH doesn't hurt your fingertips as bad, and I don't have to cut my nails off when I want to play it.

Seriously, the only thing I can really play is the same shit everyone else learns.. The opening to Iron Man, Beautiful People (Manson), and a few other things.. Not much at all.

I'm not exactly the physically violent type, which I guess explains why I don't like computer games much.. Only one I really ever played was Diablo, and that was cuz I got powerful enough to walk in totally nude, flick him with my finger, and watch him explode.. Amusement factor.

I have not played Guitar Hero but Rock Revolution which is pretty much the same thing is pretty fun. My friend has the game and I think I played it for almost two hours one night. They have the drums and for two days after my wrist killed me but it is addicting.

Well I'm not physically violent in real life. I don't think I've ever even pushed anybody. The few times I got punched by somebody I was prepared to react but didn't have to and didn't get angry. But in games depravity and destruction are harmless outlets.

they are working on that for the guitar....one with strings.....drums is pretty much drums as is the singing.....

in the gh band format you can write your own songs....
