how long has this been going on?
how many other presidents have done "status quo" and nothing changed?
maybe it was trump. maybe not. but to deny he had some role in this is just for yourself at this point.
How many other presidents have worked with NK and came to agreements with them? Trump is not the first.
dunno but how many of them ever even heard NK would *talk* about giving up nuclear weapons?
that's a first as far as i know. you can call it coincidence if you like but that seems like hate to me. when obama got bin laden i posted loud and proud that AMERICA got his ass and to keep the political BS out cause this is a good thing regardless.
this could be too. all i can do is watch and hope for the best.
NK promised to suspend their nuke program before they had a nuke when Clinton was potus.
cool. i type corrected.
I didn't mean to be snarky. The GOP congresssuspended oil shipments. There was some disagreement over whether W blew up (-: the agreement or whether NK ever intended to abide. this link is to more or less pro GOP story

Imo its not too different from any agreement. How much cheating is too much? Everyone cheats. We have a nuclear non-proliferation treaty with Russia, and at the same time we work on system that could render their nukes useless, and give us virtual unlimited first strike capability. They don't like that, and that's their excuse for belligerence.
Imo the bigger question for the thread is how could we take regime change off the table, when NK has a history of selling weapons to terrorists who mean us harm? I'd see that as caving into their nuke threat. If KimBongIII is really primarily interested in survival, I think keeping regime change on the table, along with enough nukes to turn the entire peninsula into glass, would motivate him. And he should be told that B-2 bombers are waiting to drop a fat one on his house.
