Jordan Peele is the same guy who brought us Get Out and Us.

Nope takes place on a failing ranch which provides horses for movies, and features a brother and sister who are polar opposites. OJ is introverted and says less than 50 words in the entire movie. He is played by Daniel Kaluuya, the same guy from Get Out who won an Oscar for that role.

Emerald is a vivacious extrovert. She is played by Keke Palmer.

Jordan Peele, the director and writer and producer, is the black version of M. Night Shyamalan. Except Peele's movies are better.

This is part monster movie and part Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

The horse ranch is next door to a Wild West theme park which tries to profit off the UFO. You can imagine how that turns out.

Once OJ and Em figure out what is going on, they decide they need to capture the UFO on film to show the world. The only problem is that when the UFO is nearby, all electrical objects stop working.

You will want to see this movie in a theater as the vistas are vast; and beautiful.

And yes, they aren't called UFOs any more. They are UAPs, which the characters don't know what that means.
