This thread is in honor of the Michael Jackson movie that just came out yesterday (that I plan on going to see next week) so in this thread it's everything Michael Jackson!! First, for those of you who haven't seen it yet, here's a trailer for the new movie that's now playing in theaters.

I hate music biopics... but I have to say MJ was a sensation. He may have been problematic but I think I am fine washing over those things for a good time movie which I think this does. 50/50 chance I will go see it.

Do you know for the movie they shot Thriller at exactly the same location that they did for the music video?


I already know that Jaafar Jackson is on the left and Michael's on the right, but if I didn't know what Michael looked like already so well I couldn't tell you lol he looks SO much like his uncle and I bet Michael would be proud of him.

That's one my absolute favorites and it always makes me want to dance!!

Well, I never heard anything about that. I just figured he was crazy. A lot of musical geniuses are.

Hey buttercup, I'm not sure what you think of Britney Spears, (as for myself she's alright but I don't like her as much as I did when I was a kid) but this is my favorite rendition of this song.

Before you say anything buttercup, I realize that we don't become angels in Heaven I just really like the picture. I can only hope and pray that he made it there. Especially because I really want him to show me how to moonwalk someday.

He grew up as a JW (which is a false religion)...but I heard that a few years before his death he got interested in the true Gospel, and I don't remember where I heard this from, but someone who knew him said that he got saved a couple weeks before he died. I think billions of people would love to see him in Heaven.

buttercup, you'll probably enjoy this. I'm the debater and I'll probably be the movie lover as well. I wish that I was also the one that knew everything about him but unfortunately I have to look that stuff up. Btw, this guy isn't bad with the moonwalk either.
