I'll put it this way .....if you were in a metal cover band playing in a large crowded club in any city in the world and your band ripped out a clean version of Cowboys from Hell, you would be immortal ( at least for one night)

Specifically death metal and grunge....... and then all the other cloned sub- genres within.

Slipknot drummer is pretty good though and being 60, I think I qualify as a good judge of what's heavy metal and what's not.

Plus I saw Black Sabbath in 1978.

Metal core is where I'm at. But I love omages to the past. This one is solid!
