Over 6,000 people have signed a petition calling for the removal of the Gandhi statue in Leicester, England. The petition accuses the icon of peaceful and non-violent protests of being a “facist [sic] racist and sexual predator“.

Please point to the perfect person. As humans we are all imperfect and have our likes and dislikes, including among them many people have dislikes of people not of their religion, their culture and of course, their race. What we do is try to find the best in people who have made significant accomplishments. Martin Luther King, Jr., wasn't perfect, he was a womanizer. However, he was a good orator and galvanized people for a good cause. Gandhi wasn't perfect either. He has a billion admirers, not because of his failings, but because of his galvanizing presence in the face of British oppression, that got the Indians, their Independence.
When you find the absolutely perfect person, one without human flaws....name him/her and put up a statue to that individual.
