I'm old and been listening to lots of music, all my life. Most of those would be considered famous songs by big name performers.

There was this song by Rick James called, Mary Jane

I thought the song was really about a woman- a real natural born female until I became an adult and listened to it again. That's when I thought, I think this song is about something else.

Come to find out the woman I thought he was in love with in the song was not a human being at all. It was something else inappropriate.

I do not believe God created anything for mankind to smoke, inhale, inject, etc... as a drug for them to harm themselves with, be stone cold out of their minds from, and overdose and die from.

Considering how many people love weed, you would think there would be some songs about it. I can think of many songs going back 100 years romanticizing alcohol but I can't think of any that romanticize weed. Maybe there are some, I can't think of any.
