No Kings protest Oct 18th

They call it a "No Kings" event.

I call it a loser's convention. We don't have a king in this country and if we did, these protests wouldn't be allowed at all.

Personally, I'd rather watch paint dry.

Imagine what kind of a life you have, to devote a Saturday to waving around a sign and stomping your feet, basically protesting a president who has decided to close the border and stop a flood of illegal immigration. I'm not sure what else they would really be protesting, and it looks to me like they are mad because Trump has taken away their future voters, and has decided to take a stand against crime in cities that have been on "team blue", as long as we've been alive.

That's not going to be an easy thing to run on in 2028.

You are certainly free to not attend.

One widely distributed unsolicited email directs recipients to an ActBlue website that asks for monetary contributions to bus “college students and young people” to the protests. By donating $25, ActBlue will provide bagels and coffee to one bus load of protesters. Donations of $35 will cover signs and materials, $50 will fund pizza for another bus load, and $100 will cover the transportation of 60 “students” to a No Kings Day protest.

The left have found another grift, the protest industrial complex. Funded by billionaires, it aims to target Trump and billionaires. The only reason college students are going is that they need the money and there is free food and pizza, plus its a great way to meet other people and hopefully get laid. Senior citizens are doing it because they need the money and have nothing else better to do. This whole No Kings BS is just pathetic. But, I think it is actually a good thing for Trump, as most people will see him as David fighting off the Goliath, like before the election. Neo-leftists: Have fun driving another nail into your coffin.

Which begs the question: What are the left so afraid of? Are they afraid that the people will realize the democraps are full of shit and can't be trusted? Are they afraid the right will expose their carefully controlled narratives? Are they afraid Trump is often right? Are they afraid that the people will believe the RW propaganda more than the LW propaganda? Why is it the left are so afraid of a fair fight? My take on all this is that the left think they can win elections just by controlling narratives and the voting process and not by track record and better policies. We have to go back to having a free and fair press and people will have to make up their own minds. If a country's leaders have to resort to propaganda they are not worth voting for.
