You're seen it in every Clint Eastwood type movie, where a lone gunman is surrounded by a mob.
And the guy in front shouts "You can't shoot all of us"
And he answers, "I only have to shoot you."
Murder is the unlawful killing of another human being which is not the case here. When the police shoot and kill someone it is for all intents and purposes a legal killing unless and until otherwise adjudicated by a court of law.
